Dental Emergencies

If you experience severe pain, swelling, or trauma to your teeth, contact us immediately at 077 529 9112. Outside business hours, visit your nearest hospital emergency department.

Aftercare Instructions

Proper aftercare helps ensure the best results from your treatment. Your dentist will provide specific instructions, but here are some general guidelines.

After a Filling

Avoid chewing on the treated side for 2 hours. Some sensitivity to hot and cold is normal for a few days. Contact us if pain persists beyond a week.

After an Extraction

Bite gently on the gauze for 30 minutes. Avoid hot drinks and strenuous activity for 24 hours. Do not rinse your mouth for the first 24 hours to protect the blood clot.

After Teeth Whitening

Avoid dark-coloured foods and drinks (coffee, tea, red wine) for 48 hours. Some sensitivity is normal and usually resolves within a few days.

After a Cleaning

Your teeth may feel sensitive for a day or two. Continue brushing and flossing gently. Avoid very hot or cold foods if you experience sensitivity.

How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend a check-up and professional cleaning every six months. Your dentist may suggest more frequent visits based on your individual oral health needs.
Does professional cleaning hurt?
Most patients experience little to no discomfort during a professional cleaning. If you have sensitive teeth or gums, let us know and we can take extra care to ensure your comfort.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online through our booking page, call us at 077 529 9112, or send a message via WhatsApp. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a valid ID, any previous dental records or X-rays if available, and a list of any medications you are currently taking. Arrive 10 minutes early to complete a brief health questionnaire.
Do you treat children?
Yes! We offer gentle, child-friendly dental care. We recommend bringing your child for their first dental visit by age one, or when their first tooth appears. Our team is experienced at making children feel comfortable and at ease.
What are your payment options?
We accept cash and bank transfers. A cost estimate is provided before any treatment begins, so there are no surprises. Payment is collected at the end of each appointment.
What should I do in a dental emergency?
Call us immediately at 077 529 9112 during business hours (09:00–20:00, every day). For emergencies outside our hours, visit your nearest hospital emergency department. If a tooth has been knocked out, keep it moist (in milk or saliva) and come in as quickly as possible.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes, professional teeth whitening performed at our clinic is safe and effective. We use controlled concentrations of whitening agents under professional supervision. Some temporary sensitivity is normal and usually resolves within a few days.
